Do not consider this an exhibition or think it as a three-decade retrospective work, or a tribute to Antunes Filho. This is a fabulation with him and about him; a mix between the inaccuracy of memory, affection, perception and invention oblivion. In these spaces frictions are placed between things, emotions and times lived and dreamed, the fragmented movement between imagination and it's reality. The dissolution of borders between the dream and the vigil, between doubt and certainty. One of the characters of the writer Jorge Luis Borges says: “we are the theatre, the auditorium, the actors, the argument, and the words that we hear”. This fictionalisation is about this theatre and the circulation between these borders. Memory is never accurate, but forgetfulness is inventive. By forgetting, we are falsifying the real, we are losing, and at the same time discovering things that have not been said, but that still resist and over-exist. These things that are seen from a distance, that many times not not even reach the surface, that's what this project is about. Do not go through these spaces looking for references to Antunes' chronological history, but a sparkle on the movement of your thinking and your action in this place, where he always deconstructed and disorganised certainties, proposing other meanings.
