Kulturfest Itinerant

Everyone knows that Germany is Beethoven, punctuality, sauerkraut and autobahn, but who knows young and contemporary German culture? Just as the Brazil of samba, popular music and the Amazon rainforest is known throughout Germany, Brazilians identify Germany to Oktoberfest, classical music and cutting-edge technology. In addition, it is certain that the two countries have a broader cultural life for all tastes and ages. It is also a fact that in addition to the big cities, access to the diversity of these cultures is not always possible. For this reason, a German cultural tour was organized in 16 Brazilian cities with the aim of presenting young and contemporary culture in each city for a week. All activities were selected by specialized curators with a focus on young Brazilian audiences. With the collaboration of important and engaged Brazilian partners, Kulturfest Itinerante toured to Ribeirão Preto, Florianópolis, Blumenau, Salvador, Fortaleza, Sobral, São Luís do Maranhão, Belém do Pará, João Pessoa, Campina Grande, Recife, Brasília, Goiânia , Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and São Paulo. The success of the Kulturfest truck confirmed, in all the locations where it passed, that this cultural path will be even wider for the next partnerships between Brazil and Germany.
