'Open For Everything' 10 years

In 2012 I was working as tourmanager in Berlin for Constanza Macras | DorkyPark, in that year, ten years ago, we premiered the production Open For Everything at the Wiener Festwochen in Vienna, which was a project by the company, initiated by the Goethe Institut, looking at the stagnation of Roma communities in Europe and bringing to stage a large cast with dancers from the company and both professional and non-professional performers from Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. For a couple of years I was deeply involved in the show which became a very important experience for me by shaping my professional and personal life in many aspects. We showed it in Vienna, Hamburg, Prague, Budapest, Zurich, Stockholm, Nitra, Kosice, Dresden, Poznan, Oslo, Paris, Glasgow, Ludwigsburg, Cologne, Geneva, Freiburg, Udine, and Berlin, where it had the feat to present many times in different venues, like the HAU and the Schaubühne… and now Open for Everything will be shown ten years after its premiere at the Volksbühne in Berlin this week before heading to NY for shows at the BAM.
