The British-German collective Gob Squad, has plenty of creations during the more then twenty-five years in activity, but Super Night Shot is a phenomenon. The project that ventures through the streets of cities, making public become co-stars in a movie that celebrates unplanned meetings with strangers and delights in the randomness of urban existence, elevating the banality of everyday life into the glamour and glitz of a big screen blockbuster, premiered at the Volksbühne im Prater in Berlin, in December 2003, and has since performed almost two hundred times in more than 30 countries! In Brazil, the solution for the language barrier was the unprecedented decision to recreate the performance, under the direction of members of the Gob Squad, with local performers, the Recrutas do Gob Squad, having been performed in several cities in the country (see here).
